This book is the first volume of the "New Chinese Language and Culture Course" and is suitable for children aged five or six who are beginning to learn Chinese. It is characterized by vivid content, catchy language, simple and easy to learn, and both pictures and texts. The book has 22 lessons and 166 new words, suitable for 30 units (1.5 hours per unit). New Chinese Language and Culture Course is the second edition of this textbooks series. This is a set of Chinese textbooks specially written for overseas students. It is a joint effort of Teacher Wang Shuangshuang of California and domestic experts in China, based on years of overseas teaching practice. A full set of textbooks with 15 volumes has a character volume of 2500 different Chinese characters, ranging from learning literacy, pinyin, sentence patterns, and essays, to a preliminary and more systematic study of Chinese culture.
