Description
This is the main language textbook for science and technology in the Series of Specialized Chinese Textbooks for Foreigners Studying in China, a specific Chinese language textbook for international students learning Science as an intensive course to prepare them for their future study in China. It bridges the gap between their study of the general course of Chinese language and the intensive course of mathematics, physics or chemistry.

This course goes with Chinese for Science and Technology—Reading and Writing, in which the listening comprehension exercises are focused on and supplemented by the speaking ones. The main purposes are as follows:
to develop international students’ basic Chinese knowledge and skills necessary for their study in the field of mathematics, physics, chemistry or computer; to improve their listening and speaking abilities in Chinese for science and technology; to remove their language barrier in the above-mentioned academic fields and provide the language support necessary for the intensive study of their majors.
