Studies on TCFL Reading and Writing Classroom Instructions collects the research findings in the "Observing Activities of the TCFL Reading and Writing Classroom Instructions" organized by Student Affairs Office, Beijing Language and Culture University. This book includes 23 papers respectively falling into the following four parts: the teaching of primary Chinese reading, the teaching of intermediate Chinese reading, the teaching of newspaper and business reading, and the teaching of Chinese writing.

This book involves the teaching ideas, teaching models, teaching principles, teaching strategies, teaching skills, and teaching evaluations of the reading and writing courses. All the papers are based on the teaching practice and thus have positive theoretical value and guiding significance for teaching. 

About the Author
Cui Xiliang is a professor of Linguistics and Applied Linguistics and a tutor of Ph.D. candidates. Professor Cui is the president of Beijing Language and Culture University, executive member of Chinese Language Society, vice-chairman of The International Society for Chinese Language Teaching and chairman of Beijing Language Society. He is the author of more than 40 published academic papers on linguistics and of many treatises, including Chinese Idioms and Chinese Humanism, Language Understanding and Cognition and A Brief Introduction to Linguistics, etc. Mr. Cui has been awarded as one of the Backbone Young Teachers of Universities in Beijing and has been selected by China’s Ministry of Education as one of the Trans-century Talents.

对外汉语读写课课堂教学研究
《对外汉语读写课课堂教学研究》是北京语言大学教务处组织的“对外汉语读写课课堂教学观摩活动”的成果集。全书包括初级汉语阅读教学、中级汉语阅读教学、报刊与经贸阅读教学及汉语写作教学四大部分,共有研究论文23篇。

作者简介
崔希亮,语言学及应用语言学教授,博士生导师,北京语言大学校长,中国语言学会常务理事,世界汉语教学学会副会长,北京市语言学会会长。发表语言学论文四十余篇,著作有《汉语熟语与中国人文世界》《语言理解与认知》《语言学概论》等。曾获北京市高等学校优秀青年骨干教师称号,入选教育部跨世纪优秀人才。
