This book uses the "soft tone" as a starting point. Using experimental phonetic research methods to discus the interaction between prosody and syntax. Edition in simplified Chinese.
First, an extensive study and analysis of the phonological properties of light-sounding words is carried out, not just the light-sounding words that are read individually, but also of the prosody words that are light-sounding in the speech stream.
Second, the gentle voice changes are examined on two levels: diachronic and synchronic.
Finally, the specific syntactic structure of the "verb complement with object sentence" is selected and the interaction between prosody and syntax is discussed by examining the relationship between the phonetic features of the two-syllable complement, the style and legitimacy of the sentence.
