Chinese Foreword
在你学习汉语的时候，一定有很多问题：应该这样说还是那样说？什么时候这样说，什么时候那样说？为什么这样说，为什么那嗟说？……汉语和其他语言一样，到处都是问题。例如：

-  “参观”和“访问”的英文都是visit，这两个词有区别吗？ 
-  为什么要说“一个月”，却不能说“一个年”、“一个天”？ 
-  什么时候说“他昨天来了”，什么时候说“他昨天来的”？ 
-  “我买的那束花儿，他很喜欢”，能不能说成“我买了那束花儿，他很喜欢”？ 
-  “只要努力学习，就能取得好成绩”，“只有努力学习，才能取得好成绩”，两句话意思一样吗？ 
-  为什么要用“把”字句？

这些问题有的比较简单，有的比较难。我们相信，不但我们的学生有这样的问题，其他正在学习汉语的外国人一定也有类似的问题。所以，我们决定，把我们对这些问题的回答写下来，供更多的认识或不认识的朋友们参考。朋友们看完这本书，就可以知道上面这些问题的答案了。

我们不打算在这本书里谈语法理论，也不想用很多语法术语。书里的语言是非常简单的，很容易看懂。还用了一些图表、公式，可以帮助你理解、记忆。书后面有一个索引（index），可以利用索引来查找你的问题。在条目的前面，列出了“要点提示”，希望你注意避免说那些错误的句子。在大多数条目的最后，还有一些练习题，做完以后，可以看看后面的练习答案，检查一下自己做得对不对。这本书里的问题都是初级、中级水平的。有些内容可能你已经学过了，不过，看一看这本书，你会理解得更清楚些。有些内容可能你还没接触到，不过，如果你继续学下去，你马上就会遇到这些问题的。
