The Test for International Chinese Teacher Certificate is an international standardized exam by Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters. The test is based on the Standards of International Chinese Teachers (2012 edition). It does examine five standard competences, including the basis for Chinese language teaching, Chinese teaching methods, teaching organization and classroom management, Chinese culture and cross-cultural communication, professional ethics and development and evaluates candidates’ qualifications to work as international Chinese teachers.
