It describes the turtuous experience of Wang Maoyuan, a tradesman from Fengzhou, and his family members, who has a dream of shipping out along the Maritime Silk Road, and by overcoming successive barriers, sailed to Southeast Asia, and ended up with a harvest of great love.
This book represents the spirit of the Minnian people in exploring the Maritime Silk Road, and shows a picture of the local customs, trading business, and the love and friendship of the peoples in Southeast Asia in ancient times.
Illustrated by famous illustrator Mister You Shan. The illustrations shown in this book use expressive methods of Chinese painting while injecting Western painting elements, combining ink and colour, lines and blocks and other elements from both east and west, and maximizing the historic effect with thick colours and fresh strokes.
